I had to have eye surgery 2 weeks in a row. The room are cute and I didn't have to make a reservation. The staff was very friendly. The Cafe there has very good food. I forgot about the cute balcony very cozy
I had the chicken fried steak for breakfast. My first time ever here. I've had many recommendations to go here. I was happy with the food Ambience was definitely Diner in my opinion. I would recommend it. Portion size were reasonable. Not too crazy size so the average person could probably finish their plate. I was happy with their service. I did ask for a bloody Mary and they were going to give me a bloody Mary with sake as opposed to vodka I'm assuming because of liquor laws. Thought that was a little weird.
had a really nice stay! place was clean and comfy, just how i like it. not fancy but everything i needed was there and in good shape. host was lovely and patient, helped me with a couple things i couldn’t figure out at first lol. felt safe and quiet, which is always nice. would stay again for sure!
Like many hotel/motels they have redone many of their rooms after COVID and they did a nice job inside. The outside is still not the best as old bed frames and beds line some garage walls but overall it was clean and the pool was pleasant. Very good restaurant attached to the site but only open for breakfast and lunch. There are other food and shopping options very near by which is very convenient.
It was a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The location was within walking distance to many landmarks and beautiful scenery around the property. The staff are nice and respectful and the property is located close to downtown Santa Rosa and all the shops and restaurants. The rooms were very clean and having a kitchen in the room was a plus. The scenery around the property was very beautiful and relaxing. The property is the perfect size if you are looking for a laid back private retreat. Perfect for any getaway!
I had hit a rough point in my life and needed a place to stay in town with a kitchenette that wasn't too pricey. The Hillside was perfect for me. Great restaurant next door and I got to know Bob, have to say I don't see the ugly side I've heard about in other reviews. I asked the cleaners to come in only while I was there to keep my stuff safe and so my door wasn't left open. I received nothing but cooperation from the staff.
Very quiet, comfortable, and convenient location. Two cafes on site and very near waling distance to IHOP. Ours was a kitchenette unit. Very spacious and clean room. Furnishings mix and match. Deluxe bedding. Lush forested setting.
Really enjoyed my stay here. The front desk host was super friendly and helpful, and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. The room was also very clean and well kept. Overall, good service and a clean place to stay — would visit again for sure.
